do you know where did i go? alright, let me tell you if you dont, i went to IKEA! =D it was really fun. spent abt 3hours there. cool.

baby cot. so nice. kel's going to give birth to a baby so tt i can play with him. i have prophesied, baby's gonna be a HIM. so when you goin to get attached and get married? i wanna play with baby. =)

this ice cream is really GOOD. must try. only $1.20.

hotdog plus drink = $1.70. nice hotdog but no nice bread. thats why you need the drink to swallow down the bread. =P

it was really fun, looking at the furniture, bouncing on the beds and sofas. haa. =)

i was packing my stuff just now and i saw some letters and cards which i received from my friends.

among the many papers, one caught my attention.


the front wrote:

this card was from xiaoyun. she gave it to me... almost 3 years back.
it was just one of the many cards she gave me.

gorging session for the perpetually hungry me


went for steamboat makan on thursday.
it was.... VERY FILLING.
it was a v random dinner decision from KFC to steamboat. but im glad we had tt.


we reached the place at 830pm. and we left at about 1130pm.
it was almost 3 hours.

and i think most of the time, i was eating. really focused on eating.
we ordered 3 kinds of soup, chicken soup, mala soup and tom yum soup.
mala soup was... really mala. =P

i was super full for the whole night. i only felt hungry on friday night.. halfway through CG. goodness. but thank God my stomach was able to digest the food ultimately, though aft almost 20 over hours.

and i dont suppose i want to have steamboat for the next 2-3 months.. until CNY. haa.

i have never been really clear abt the cat family.
today my friend, kel, introduced them to me.
and here i am, sharing what ive learnt.

this is a JAGUAR!
according to kel, jaguar's prints are different from leopard, although very much similar.
pls spot the difference yourself. hee.

and this.. is LEOPARD! hanging on the tree. heh.

this is baby tiger. im stil havin alil problem identifyin tiger from lion. i just need more practise. haa.

i went to do up some search abt this..
found some interesting stuff..


With a high IQ you may get hired, but with a high EQ you will get promoted.
With a high IQ you can become a whiz at the daily routine, but with a high EQ you can thrive during times of change and uncertainty.
With a high IQ you can be an efficient professional, but with a high EQ you can become a great leader.




Emotional intelligence is how well you manage yourself and handle your relationships, how well you can work on a team, your ability to lead.



Emotional Intelligence can be defined as an array of non-cognitive skills, capabilities and competencies that influence a person's ability to cope with environmental demands and pressures.


It requires that we learn to acknowledge and understand feelings in ourselves and in others, that we appropriately respond to them and effectively apply the information and energy of emotions. This is obvious and almost common-sensual.


Sure enough, strong emotions make it difficult to think straight, nonetheless, thought devoid of emotions renders satisfactory decision-making impossible.


The problem is not with emotions as such, but with the appropriateness of emotion and its expression.



Emotional intelligence is neither good nor bad, like any other intellectual skills, it is morally neutral.



Without a moral compass to guide us on how to employ these skills, motional intelligence can be used for good or evil.


The subject can be seen in a continuum of related emotions. The value of EQ is to force us to look at the obvious and improve our ability to understand, apply the "obvious" and direct our energy towards the positive side of the emotional continuum.




Self-awareness is perhaps the most crucial ability because it allows us to exercise some self-control.


Self awareness is listening to our heart, expressing our feelings openly and channeling our energy to the constructive side.


The idea is not to repress feeling or suppress emotions - every feeling has its value and significance - but to strike a balance between rational thought and emotions and do what Aristotle considered the hard work of the will:


"Anyone can become angry - that is easy. But to be angry with the right person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right purpose and in the right way - that is not easy."

Negative emotions, such as, anger, stress/anxiety, depression, mistrust, tension or grief not only impede effective communication, but also bury us in the cloud of negativity and pessimism.
The consequence can be pretty dangerous.
Learning to identify and convey emotions is an important part of emotional intelligence.


Being emotionally literate is of vital importance in everyone's life.
Being able to recognise and control your emotions, and to communicate and work with other people are just a few traits of emotional intelligence that assist us at work and with interpersonal relationships.
