1 Corinthians 13: 1-13 (NLT)
If I could speak in any language in heaven or on earth but didn't love others, I would only be making meaningless noise like a loud gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I knew all the mysteries of the future and knew everything about everything, but didn't love others, what good would I be? And if I had the gift of faith so that I could speak to a mountain and make it move, without love I would be no good to anybody.
If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn't love others, I would be of no value whatsoever.
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud
or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged.
It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.
Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
Love will last forever, but prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will all disappear.
Now we know only a little, and even the gift of prophecy reveals little!
But when the end comes, these special gifts will all disappear.
It's like this: When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child does. But when I grew up, I put away childish things.
Now we see things imperfectly as in a poor mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God knows me now.
There are three things that will endure – faith, hope, and love – and the greatest of these is love.

take some time to tink rite now. is there anyone in ur life, whom u really can't stand. to the extend, u feel like running away from them becoz they are different from u. or to a point, u don't think tt his or her presence is important at all.
many times, we tink tt so as long we r loving, caring, totful, kind to those who r nice n tt makes us 'good-enough'. tts mediocrity. in e bible is saes tt wat do u profit if u love those who deserves ur love? there r many ppl out there who dun like us for who we are or wat we r doin. or even some who juz have a character flaw which we canot stand.
do we love? or run?
God deals w every issue in our lives. tt includes loving those whom we cant seemed to love.
He loves us. even though we don't deserve it. in e song, take off my shoes by delirious?. it sings.. why did u call, why did u wait. for someone so guilty, someone so fake.
truly, y did He call and wait for us? knowin that we r not worthy.
LOVE nv fails even in the midst of anger, disruption, intolerance, misunderstanding, irritation.
to love requires self control. which is one of the fruit tt many failed to cultivate over time.
it is alwaez easy to love anyone who is an eye-candy. but wat abt lovin one who is like an 'eyesore' each time u see him/her?
wld u control e emotions which spring up almost immediately aft e person does stg which u cant agree with? or juz allow e emotions to overtake u and respond to e person negatively?
let us LOVE unconditionally, unselectively. juz like how Jesus did.
it requires the grace frm God to love.
when we change the way we look @ others, the clouds of negtivity over the person wld not be the focus. it wld be the potential we see in him/her instead. alwaez see the best of the situations/people.

passion n joy. 2 important things that we all need in all tt we r doin.
whether is it at skool, work, home or church. anywhere. everywhere.
many lost the joy and passion as they work very hard in accomplishing wat they r called to do. tt is as good as losin the purpose.
losing tt passion and purpose makes one weary. unwilling. unhappy abt self, ppl ard, things happening ard. bounded. hopeless. mean. angry. losing self control.
vision is the direction. passion is the motivation tt moves u to ur direction. w vision and callin, yet without passion is like being a handicap.
passion wil lead to excellence and willingness to sacrifice.
the english word passion has several meanings;
a)A powerful emotion, such as love, joy, hatred, or anger
b)Boundless enthusiasm
c)Ardent love
with passion, u will possess tt boundless enthusiasm to fight on. to xcel. to go on. to take on greater responsibilities.
i wan that true passion. tt will grow even stronger thru the fire.
this passion will spur you on to carry on. it will spur you on to take up the challenges along the way. it will spur you on to fulfill your purpose w joy.
i lost tt passion along the way as i xplored the road ahead. tt made me dry. unhappie. purposeless. i din noe when i lost it. it is like.. i wounded myself when i accidentally knocked my arm against the door without knowing when it all happened until i saw the blue black surfacin on my arm and stil wondering.. when n where did i get tt blue black from.
not sure if tt sounds familiar to u. but it alwaez happen to me. haa.
its not too late to pick up from where i left off.
my passion. once again renewed. recharged.
joy fills my heart. i shall guard it with all i can.

there will be an outburst of joy when u allow ur passion to motivate. not ur own problems n baggages. u will feel a sense of satisfaction when u see ur passion reapin a harvest, bringing u into a greater calling.
do not fear. focus on your vision & Passion and run.

as i mentioned in my previous entry. 2006 is gona be awesome. but. january. been a mth of testing and dryness. tired, i went on. aft all the midnite oil burnt. aft all the exams stress. aft all the days when i cant close any deals. aft all the time of CNY. tts tt.
holidaes r over. realli over. time to move. MOVE. move out. out of my comfort zone.
e degree of growth in my life in feb is measured by e degree i choose to CHANGE and MOVE.
diz week's been tremendous. dun wana bore you with my naggie details.
all the wae frm Tuesday. til today. i feel. uncomfortable. it is a good thing. becoz God is challengin me to change in many areas of my life. realli. God nv leave past issues undealt with. here it comes. i dun wana hang and cruise thru. i wana be challenged and change and nv be the same.
vision. without it, ppl perish. all tt we do. haf a vision. haf a dream. nv fear to do so. for when u fear and not dream, u r limitin ur own potential frm being unleashed.
im movin.
CG todae. e word was for me. im convicted. could feel tt everyone came with a burden or a tiredness. but thank God. when we choose to lay them @ His feeet, we were able to sense His very tangible presence. I was very ministered. but at tt very moment, i couldnt breakthru. God wans me to WAIT UPON Him as i get home.
im realli happie for qiaoru. becoz aft seeing her go thru all the pre-exam results releasal stress.. cryin. cant slp. worried. anxious. HER L1R5 IS 12!! YEAY! God is a good God.
faith in God + action = results.
let us not juz sae tt we believe in God for good results. we shld oso put into actions wat we believe.
michelle got 8! wa. haa. congrats ladie. she's amazin.
i pray tt e 4 of them, Michelle, Qiaoru, Karen & Leonard wil get into a good skool and their desired course of studie.
btw, Delirious? came last weekend. AWESOME!!!!
ive been listenin to their album, the mission bell since Wednesday when i got e CD.
even til now. personali, i prefer Love is a Miracle, Take Off My Shoes and Miracle Maker.
i feel like a rocker-fan now. haa. their songs r so rock.
