Funny how a $10.00 bill looks so big when you take it to church, but so
small when you take it to the mall.
Funny how big an hour serving God looks and how small 60 minutes are when
spent playing golf, fishing or shopping.
Funny how long a couple of hours spent at church, but how short they are
when watching a movie.
Funny how we get thrilled when a football game goes into overtime, but we
complain when a sermon is longer than the regular time.
Funny how laborious it is to read a chapter in the Bible and how easy it is
to read 200-300 pages of a best selling novel.
Funny how we believe what newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.
Funny how people scramble to get a front seat at any game, but scramble to
get a back seat at church service.
Funny how we cannot fit a gospel meeting into our schedule with yearly
planner but we can schedule for other events at a moment's notice.
Funny how we need 2 or 3 weeks to fit a church event into our schedule, but
can adjust it for a social event at the last minute.
Funny how much difficulty some have learning a simple gospel well enough to
tell others, but how simple it is for the same people to understand and
explain gossip about someone else.
Funny how we can't think of anything to say when we pray, and don't have any
difficulty thinking of things to talk about to a friend.
Funny how we are so quick to take direction from a total stranger when we
are lost, but are hesitant to take God's direction to be found.
Funny how people are so consumed with what others think about them rather
than what God thinks about them.
Funny how so many churchgoers sing "Standing on the Promises" but all they
do is sit on the premises.
Funny how people think that they can get more accomplished in a lifetime
without God than in an hour with Him.
Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven, provided they don't have to
believe, or to think, or to say, or to do anything.
Funny how we all need to read this.

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were
meant to be there.
To serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or
help figure out who you are or who you want to become.
You never know who these people may be but when you lock eyes with them, you
know that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.
And sometimes things happen to you at the time that may seem horrible,
painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming
those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, will
power or heart.
Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of
good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer
stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small
tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere.
Safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.
The people you meet affect your life. The successes and downfalls that you
experience can create who you are, and the bad experiences can be learned
from.
In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones.
If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them because
they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious
to whom you open your heart.
If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they
love you, but because they are teaching you to love and to open your heart
and eyes to little things.
Make every day count.Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can,
for you may never be able to experience it again.
Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let
yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high.
Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a
great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in
yourself, no one else will believe in you.
Create your own life and then go out and live it.

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For beautiful eyes, look for
the good in other people.
To lose weight, let go of stress, hatred, anger, contentment and the need to
control others.
To improve your ears, listen to the word of God. Rather than focus on the
thorns of life, smell the roses and count your blessings, giving thanks for
each one of them.
For poise, walk with knowledge and self-esteem.To strengthen your arms, hug
at least 3 people a day. Touch someone with your love.
To strengthen your heart, forgive yourself and others. Don't worry and
hurry so much.
Rather than walk this earth lightly, walk firmly with determination and
leave your mark.
For the ultimate in business, casual or evening attire put on the robe of
Christ; it fits like a glove but allows room for growth. Best of all, it
never goes out of style and is appropriate for any occasion.
Doing these things on a daily basis will certainly make you a more beautiful
person.

Giving Up What You Want Is The Prerequisite For Giving God What He Wants.
“For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the Gospel’s will save it.” Mark 8:35
Here are two extraordinary questions for you to carefully consider:
Why do I want what I want?
How could I even suppose my own desires could compare with the desires God divinely prepared for me?
Now, here are some possibilities:
Pride—Individualswith a proud heart won’t admit they still cling to their own desires. They convince themselves that their own way of doing things is correct, superior, and even Godly.
Comfort—Whatever God leads us to will be great, but it will not be comfortable. People stop surrendering their will to God when the next step requires sacrificing more comfort than they are willing to accept.
Misunderstanding—It is impossible for people to surrender their desires when they don’t believe in God’s goodness. Those who view God as a traditional dictator (as opposed to a benevolent king) never understand that the scope of God’s plan is infinitely more wonderful than a personal dream.
God firmly prohibited the Jews from charging interest on loans of silver, chattel, or produce.
Nonetheless, selfish moneychangers often consented to this desire for greed, in direct disregard of the law.
Do you currently have a difficult time trying to let go of your own selfish desires?
Have you dealt with pride, comfort, or misunderstanding in your life? Deal with it today.
Make sure you ask God to search your heart and divest yourself of any desires that are contrary to Him.

had a good fellowship w my pal.
and we also had a good time finishing up what we bought.
overstarving and overeating are both bad for health.

the quantity of macdonalds junkies we bought is sufficient to feed 3 hungrie persons, not 2.
but we finished 85% of them anyway. =D
its a great day.
